Navigation

Some gadgets support displaying navigation instructions. Gadgetbridge can receive those instructions from several apps and forward them to the gadget.

Supported devices

Navigation instructions are currently supported by the following devices:

  • Bangle.js
  • Fossil Hybrid HR (needs unofficial app)
  • PineTime
  • Huawei (only some watches, unknown which)

The following devices support sending instructions as notifications, with instruction icons:

  • Xiaomi protobuf
  • Zepp OS

The following devices support sending instructions as normal notifications:

  • Garmin watches

You can also enable generic navigation instructions as notifications to other unsupported devices, by enabling "Allow unsupported devices" in the navigation settings. These notifications contain the distance in the title, and the instruction / arrival time in the notification body.
